slow down to a crawl：スピードを落とす
stalled：遅れた
obstruct：邪魔になる

今日学んだ単語を使って英作文の練習もしました。これ、語彙の定着にいいですね。
to slow down to a crawl: My baby's crying slows down my car to a crawl.
backed up: The line is backed up.
soared: The population had soared in the last ten years.
stalled= stopped, delayed: I had to have my stalled car repaired.
She's stalling.
to stretch: This road stretches between Tokyo and Yokohama.
to obstruct: This sign is obstructing traffic.
